    Hello guys, I just purchased the "HP Pro x2 612 G1 i5-4302Y 1.6ghz, 8gb, 256ssd, 12.5" W8.1 - J8V92UT#ABA"

HP Refurbished for a ridiculous amazing price lower than the list price of about $1,400.

I am very excited to get it. The WACOM EMR feel technology sealed the deal for me as well as the i5-4302y processor.

It is very heavy at 4+ lbs, but then again, i was carrying around my HP 2170p with power adapter and that was 3.96 lbs of weight and the battery lasted at most 3 hours.

I am also hoping to get 8.5 hours of battery life with the tablet / power keyboard usage and therefore no need to carry the extra weight of the power adapter.

I am hoping the i5-4302y haswell is just about the same performce as the ivy bridge i5-3427u.

i'll update you guys my experience with this and the wacom pen usage as well :)

@Yao, I recommend you get a screen protector for the HP. It's got the slipperiest screen coating I've ever encountered in a tablet pc.

I have not got that much time with mine, 3.5-4 hrs.
But I use the screen on high.

That is a main reason I'm getting the keyboard base
that includes a second battery. plus the full keyboard/touchpad.
Then it should get more than 6 hours.

That looks nice, though it's a pricey add-on for the low-end version I bought. I wish they had some shots of it attached to the tablet. Is it a stationary position? Does it create a clamshell cover? Inquiring minds...

@Yao, with all of the tablets at my disposal, I've never worked with the HP for more than a couple of hours at a time. Also because I don't have a keyboard cover, it's not a device I would choose for traveling.
