    Hello,

I am confused which pen protocol the HP ELITE X2 1012 G1 (m5-6Y57) supports; one source mentioned Wacom and a other MS pen. I find HP itself quite vague on, just referring it to HP active pen. I suspect Wacom AES? I saw a decent deal (without pen) but I only want to buy it if the pen protocol is Ntrig (or EMR is also fine).

    Thanks for taking the time.

No clue, but typically HP usually defaults to AES for most of their devices, so I would think AES.

    No it's not Ntrig.
My surface pen didnt work with it!
    Neither is it EMR.
In most probability it's synaptics based
