Can someone compare the Elite keyboard and Kickstand vs. The Spectre?
from the specs , they are both metal ,backlight ,and with 1.5mm of travel, almost the same weight , the differences are that the spectre keyboard have speakers and silver keys , elite keys are black
I read in one review that the Elite Kickstand is better (it was a preliminary review) and I wonder if someone can compare them from experience.
Also, is there a difference (other than the speakers) between the keyboards?
the elite kickstand opens manually without a button ,I don't know if it's more durable.
I mentioned all the differences on the keyboard (speakers , keys colors ) maybe there are other differences that I don't know
there are 3 new videos about the device (not English)
pen hands on
surface pen VS HP pen
device hands on
I hope will see next days more reviews.
I'm most interesting about the battery life and the quality of the screen.

How does the metal keyboard not scratch the display when transported in the closed position?
I guess just like others proposal like Macbook or Mac Air or Zenbook ultrabook both companies using full aluminum body and users of them not having issue scratching the screen while in closed position.
I had in the past Vaio laptop full metal and not had issues with that.
Typically, the keyboards have small rubber pads that prevent the keyboard from touching the screen.

Even plastic or rubber keyboards are liable to scratch the screen because keyboards harbor oil and sand that make for a powerful abrasive. You should always protect your display with a microfiber cloth when shutting it against a keyboard.
