In the fingerprint setup page you can find a option of using it as a touchpad. But this funcion is disabled in the register. Does anyone what tweek we can do to activate the touch pad functin of the FPR? It was one of the founctions the FPR manufacturer proudly announced last year--on some of the Fujitsu Laptop they are even located between thetwo keys of teh touch pad,and are used as a scroll bar.

Byt the way, the FPR is just a CCD matrix which can reconstruct the FP from slices of images while you swipe your finger. so it is definitly capable of becoming a alternitive of the touch pad.

Go to the Protector Suite QL folder on the start menu, open the Control Center, go to System Settings, select the Scrolling tab, set a shortcut key, test your scrolling using that little button, then apply your settings.

Simple as pie! Next time consult your documentation first :).

I had to right click and select "run as administrator" on the control center in order to change the settings, but it worked after that.
