How to speed up for HP Slate 2 tablet?

    Buy an AVN8 if you can.

    Standard optimization tips:

    - turn off all unnecessary services
    - don't install any additional software
    - run things such as updates manually

    The problem is, programmers have chosen to offload their work to the Javascript engine in our webbrowsers, which results in an inevitable, and on-going slow-down of any machine's performance which is used for any sort of on-line work.

    If I could give up web browsing, I'd still be using my Fujitsu Stylistic ST-4121 (tried upgrading to a ThinkPad X61t, currently using an Asus Vivotab Note 8).

    I have to agree with Thierryb. You really can't. The Z670 Atom is just too anemic. At least you could overclock the Atom in the original Slate 500. The Z670 would not overclock.
