    Hi!

When i select the ink tool in OneNote the cursor becomes the size of the pen i select. Basically it becomes a one pixel dot that is very hard to track on the screen when you are not writing.

Any idea on how to make this pointer bigger?

    Thanks,

    Ton.

    Toontje,
I am a bit confused...is it not where the tip of your pen is? Are you using an active digitizer or passive? I am not trying to be a smart&^%% but I personally never care if I see the dot or not I just figure it is at the tip of my pen wherever I place it to the screen...

It is. And my tablet (i'm using a Wacom Bamboo) positions the cursor exactly where i want it to be, but i have to TOUCH the tablet (hence paint/draw) to see where the cursor is and like that i have a lot of small dots and scratches on my drawing just from positioning the pen.

I hope i make my self clear.

You don't actually have to touch the screen to see and move the cursor.

I don't see a way of making the pointer bigger than the pen is in Onenote 2007. That wouldn't make sense anyway...although I suppose it would be nice if it did one of those Ctrl-key flashes when the pen first comes within range of the digitizer. Have you tried turning on cursor trails?

Now it makes sense...you are using an external bamboo sensor as opposed to a TabletPC.

I am unaware as to how to make this happen for you in OneNote anyway.

The Bamboo is close enough. The main differences are a lack of text smoothing and side button programming capabilities. It definitely allows the cursor to be seen and moved without touching the digitizer.

Oh wait, is this the new touch & pen Bamboo?

Yes, it is. I switch on a short cursor trail and that works fine!!
