I too decided to get this Gateway CX200X tablet its been with me for 3 weeks, unfortunately haven't been able to spend time with this baby.

The question however is, how does one write something and then erase it using the pen...is this possible?

You can just select the "eraser" in the software toolbar in many applications. In OneNote you can actually use the "eraser" end of your pen.

Thank you Barry, I knew about the erase option, but I have to try the OneNote option...

Barry, I have the "use top of pen to erase (where applicable)" checked in the TABLET AND PEN SETTINGS/PEN OPTIONS, but my eraser doesn't actually erase. I have to use the toolbar eraser. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure that you have to draw a "Z" over the letters that you want to erase with that pen. Check the website, it's where I got the information from.
