Is there a way to do this? Im specifically looking to alter the "alt" button so that it is disabled or does something else.

In control Panel click on "Tablet PC settings" then Click on the Second tab called "Buttons". Now I did a clean install so may not have everything in place. The only Button I Seem to be able to Control is the button for the on screen keyboard. It has options to adjust not only press but press and hold.

How about uninstall the button driver? Something else is tied to this driver so you might want to find those posts and see what you might lose.
