How do I change the display order of messages within a thread (i.e., show newest messages first)?
I believe this requires an add-on in XenForo (this kind of sorting is not available by default). If this is something that a lot of users want, we can look into implementing it.
I'd really like to recommend that add-on be installed. Being able to look at newest messages first makes a big difference when you're scanning the forums...

If you want to be able to read your favorite forums from newest to oldest, you need to ask for it! How about a little support for this? Post a +1 !!
I use Tapatalk and that's the I view them so I can see why you'd need it on the browser too. So:

Sent from my SC-01F using Tapatalk
I always take the link to jump to first unread, so I'm fine without it (and will likely not use it). If this add-on were to be include, would it replace the current behavior, or would it be an option for those that want it?

...As I understand it, it would be an option (preference), just as it was on the vBulletin software. You wouldn't have to display it that way if you didn't want to...
Ok, just checking. He mentioned earlier some other settings that don't work that way (like number of posts per page), so I was just checking if this was one of them.
