    Of course, I would have been more intrigued if you could swap EMR and a GPU in it

    Agreed though in theory you could. Specific to EMR though, the only practical way to do that would be to make the entire display assembly swappable given how integrated EMR is to the display hardware. eg. it exists in a midlevel layer between the LCD/OLED hardware and the touch sensors on the top in the "sandwich" structure of current designs.

    I like these for what they are which among other thing is meant as teaching tools. My son's high school bought a handful of them for "computer hardware basics" type instructions. they are bricks in terms of thickness and weight, not to mention they are not high performance by any stretch, but they are durable as f###!
