Just spilled some coffee on my TM2. It was about half to quarter of a cup and had milk and sugar. Spilled on the top left part near 'esc' and went up to 'A' to the bottom and '6' to the right. A small amount of coffee went on the speaker part on the monitor too. Immediately unplugged and took out the battery (Max 3-5 seconds). Wiped off everything and it is now stilling on the desk face down.

My question is, how coffee proof is the TM2? Should I open it up and clean the inside? Or Do I wait like 5-6 hours for it to dry up and then try starting it?

My recommendation and partially from experience (beer, soda) on other laptops are that you should dissassemble is as much as you easily can do, Turn it upside down and let it sit in a dry/warm place for 2-3 weeks.
Then you can investigare if you have had any losses.
1 keyboard and and a usb port died for me.
