    E-peens only exist digitally.

I guess I have to take the brunt of the burden, but you need to understand that it is night in Japan and I'm at a restaurant testing Islay Single Malt. My sense of responsibility is seriously hampered right now.

Well, I do tend to exaggerate, but then again I couldn't say it was nearly as good as my Surface Pro 2 pen, because that was Wacom, and neither Apple Pencil nor Surface Pen, to this date, are as good as a good Wacom pen...

    No way again. :D
As long as you mention a cintiq companion or mobile studio pro I could agree, they are slightly better (though I prefer drawing on the ipad than the companion) but the others.... the Surface line from ntrig still has jitter while the wacom surface was awful in terms of accuracy when not near the center (like a vivotab note).
It's just still way more natural to draw with the pencil, even if it glides a tad too much on glass.

I find the Pencil on 10.5 to be the best experience I've had inking for note taking/ for the pen feel itself. Better than my SP3. I do wish they had different tip materials. I have not tried the nSP yet.
A bit more texture on the barrel might help too. But the latency addresses my biggest grip as a speedy note taker.
