God Mode is a unique window that gathers all of Windows 8's controls into a single place, grouped by category. You create this window by creating a folder on your desktop and giving it a specific name:

<> Right click on your desktop, select New and then Folder
<> Name the folder: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} Note that you can use any name in place of "GodMode"
<> As soon as you press Enter, the folder icon will become identical to the Control Panel icon with folder name as "GodMode" (or whatever you selected)
<> Double click and open it
<> That’s it, now you have access to your whole operating system from this single folder / window

Some of you may remember that Windows 7 also incorporated this feature; however, do not attempt to use this with earlier versions of Windows (Vista, XP) as there have been periodic reports of trouble including OS crashes...

Most excellent. Only way it could be better if i could make it a menu item (similar to computer, documents, or games) on the start menu (start8) and then be able to remove it from the desktop.

    Thanks for sharing!
