Yeah pretty much every new laptop has one of these threads so I figured I would make one for the gateway.

I don't know, post your configuration or something and your EAD.

    Mine is in my sig.

Man another person with a delivery date a day earlier than mine. HAHA something has to be causing this maybe it is the bluetooth!?

It is only a day. Now if people next week get better EAD's then I start freaking out.

Yeah, they RMA'd my CX210X for me, and my C-140X order is processing.

    T7100
    x3100
    80 GB 5400 rpm HDD
    2GB RAM
    8XDVD-RW
    12 Cell Battery

Expected delivery date 7/26, however, the salesperson said they are not even being built yet so not to expect it till around the second week of August. Hopefully she was just trying to sell me a QS and it will be here sooner :[.

I ordered overnight shipping. This may have something to do with it.

Ah probably so. The shipping was free for me so they probably gave me ground.

Does anyone know if these things are being built overseas (ie China) or somewhere here in America?

Edit: Sure seems like a lot of people purchased the accidental warranty.

I ordered a Gateway c-140x yesterday (july 3). I was given an EAD of 7/24/07. (sorry, Lucky Spoon...) I'm new to both tablet pcs and posting...I think this is a summary of the config I ordered:Home Vista Premium, Intel Core 2 Duo T7300, 2048 SDRAM, 120GB hard drive, 8x Multi-Format Dual Layer DVDRW With DVD-RAM, Primary 8-Cell Lithium Ion battery, 14.0” WXGA, Chassis w/ 128MB graphics, PM965, 1394 & FPRDR (Viper-SR), C-ValuePln 3yr Parts/Labor/NoOnsite/TechSup and 1Yr C&B Portable 3yr Accidental Damage Plan.
Does anyone know if this accidental damage plan covers screen damage?
By the way, I spent several hours reading the reviews and posts before deciding on this tablet...very informative AND entertaining. What a combination!:)

Do the C-140X's have Wacom based digitizers?
