Again echoing my past posts, it's the Fujitsu that is getting the votes.

Reliability ~ it's a proven platform coming from the T4210.

Overall great customer services & tech support ~ all manufacturers will have issues with customers as no company can get it right 100% of the time but Fujitsu & Fujitsu Siemens are always at the top of the respected list.

Innovative design ~ has it's own quirky designs that make it more attractive to use.
Like the Pen on the screen for easy access.
The screen rotating both left & right.
    LCD indicators of useful items.

No bloatware ~ unlike some manufacturers (Toshiba & ASUS), Fujitsu and FS don't bloat the system with all manner of programs. Result quicker startup and less memory and resources being used.

Bloatware isnt a problem. When i turn my notebook on i go to msconfig and sort the crap out... isnt really a huge issue..

I'm currently in the same situation, i.e. deciding between the T4215 and R1F.

One thing none have you mentioned is the fact the R1F has the Express Card expandability, which might be useful in the future for things like Asus' upcoming external video card, the Asus XG Station.
