ALOT of people give Vista flack about being slow ad buggy, and Windows 7 is touted as the "Jesus" OS, repairing all that is wrong with Windows Vista. Well rest assured alot of those (mis) conceptions will be put to rest shortly, obviously once the OS is released.

Gizmodo in the meanwhile has run benchmarks on the Release Candidate comparing it with Windows Vista. 32 bit versions of both OS's were run on the same machine with specifications of 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM (but really 3GB available cause of the 32-bit issue), 256MB Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT, and they promise to release one for 64 bit once its available, the results might surprise you.
