First day in the field with my new HP tx2500

I don't honestly know what button did it. It was in laptop mode, lid closed, in a padded bag and I seriously doubt the power slider did it. It would have to have been something on the side or back though since the front wasn't even close to touching anything (the power button faces up when I put it in the bag).

Oh well, live and learn. I might do some testing to try to figure it out though just for kicks. On a more happy note, I did see that apparently it woke up just minutes before I took it out of the bag, at least according to the Event viewer. So maybe in the bag awake for 10-20 minutes at most.

 

type in this command ---- powercfg -h off ------

i noticed my tx2500 waking up every hour to go into hibernate mode. disabling hibernate seems to solve it.
