And the HP Pavilion X2 12 is not among the devices which it will work with?. :(

I woul like to buy the HP Pavilion X2 12 because it has 8GB RAM and USBC port , much better than the Surface Pro 4 with the same m3 processor and for €100 less than the Surface Pro 4...I njeed to know if this stylus works as promised for this tablet 2 in1...

Does anybody know if it works with the HP Pavilion X2 12 (2016)?.

    Kind regards.

    Jose.

I see no mention of pen support in the HP Pavilion x2 12 specs.

I want to buy it but I need a credit card, despite I have a Paypal account.

Do you wanna sell it via eBay or something like that?.

I would like to test it with my borther's HP Pavilion x2 12. If it works, I will buy this tablet. :)

    Thanks Will.

The Lenovo Thinkpad Pro Pen, Toshiba dynaPad and HP Spectre x2 pens are interchangeable and both work on the Encore 2 Write. I'm cautiously optimistic (hopeful) that the Bamboo Smart will work on those devices as well.

The Bamboo Smart pen for 2-in-1s does _not_ work on my Toshiba Encore 2 Write 10, as reported above, using the current driver.

It is close enough to working, that I suspect that a driver update will make it work.

But are you using the pen meant for Samsung devices or the "universal" one not yet available in the US?

I imported the universal 2-in-1 stylus from Japan as noted in a previous post in this thread, ’cause I was desperate for something which would increase the hover distance, and am sick of the Tru Pen’s too-slick aluminum surface.

Almost works, and I’m still holding out hope that a driver update will make it compatible.

I recently bought a HP Pavilion X2 12 in the hope that the pen isn't as bad as it seemed, but sadly it really isn't good enough. So I also bought the Wacom universal pen which is finally on sale in Europe. Although the HP isn't on the support list the pen works. It just isn't any better than the HP pen, in fact the hover distance might be a bit worse than on the HP one.

It's such a shame because I love everything else about this device especially the form factor.
