"Nope. The reason is that even though right now we are a small brand, in the future we intend to be bigger.

And that can only happen if we have loyal customers that value our efforts."

Now THERE is a good company policy!

They certainly have the potential to start a wave of tablet startups just like them if they can successfully mark the course for others to pursue. I certainly hope so, and what I have observed says they are right on target! The premium tablet industry needs a good shake-up with some fresh, competitive design wins where Apple has been sputtering and Microsoft is just one company.

We have yet to make a thread(s) and poll(s) there. The hitch is, for us to have a good chance at success, we will need to present our case in the most convincing way possible to get as many people as possible to get on board with and voting in favor of our ideas. Just know, first impressions are everything and people have a hard time changing their mind once they see something and it leaves them with a sour or lackluster impression.

I propose we plan out the threads we will post there here first for the Surface Air and Sony VAIO Z clone tablets before any of us go there and post them. That way, we can make a very strong, convincing sale and then we will stand a fighting chance at them each being accepted rather than them being axed at the first go.

For less clutter and confusion, possibly @RT545, @Marty, or anyone else who might be interested in heading this up could please organize a separate thread here on TabletPCReview so we can get the ball rolling and get these posts down pat.

Talk about a beast! There is no thermal throttling to speak of. The Eve V stably runs at its peak clock frequency no sweat:

I am in shock right now with this latest prototype that incorporates a heatpipe into it which the final production model will use. If you have ever wondered how the fanless Surface Pro 4 m3 would perform with a faster Core M CPU, wonder no longer. Here are all the i5-7Y54 scores on Geekbench, sorted by multi-core score. The top one is the V i5:

    WOW!

The V just broke the all-time record score for the Core i5-7Y54 on the entire Geekbench database? It is also literally outperforming many of the Surface Pro 4 i5's test runs (see here: https://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/search?utf8=✓&q=surface+pro+4+i5) as well and this is all at only 7W. Consider myself floored.

Here is where my current Surface Pro 4 m3 (ran in high performance mode) stands versus the V i5. That is one heck of a performance leap I would be getting just from the i5 model:
