A big thanks to all of you regarding the pressure sensitivity.
I've always missed this icon in the control panel before...

How to use Wacom ZP-501E-00A grip pen with slate? I downloaded the drivers in hopes that it would work. When I put the grip pen over the tablet it is not recognized.

    I bought this one
    Wacom eStore > Spare Pens > PL-900 pen > PL-900 pen
it work like a charm. Not cheap by the way.
Don't take the spare nibs, you have already the set with the slate, and some included with the pen. I guess I've got enough nibs for the rest of my life.

    <<...I bought this one...>>

...Note that the pen itself is clearly marked "UP-817E," not PL-900. To the best of my knowledge, only UP series pens are compatible with tabletPCs...

True and in the description, you can read "Replacement pen for the PL-900".

So I read up on all the replies regarding Axiotron Pens. What specific drivers would I need to configure the functionality of the buttons? One of the buttons do not work by default according to this poster.

Both buttons work with the correct drivers from the Asus website.
However, you have to have the hover-click set to make it work 'as expected'
Otherwise, with the other click option, only the closest button to the tip /appears/ to be registered, although they are both sent.

If the correct drivers are installed, then from Control Panel select Pen Tablet Properties and from there you should be able to set the option for both buttons.
