    I dropped my tablet and the screen cracked in the lower part near the keyboard on both the left and right side. The tablet is still on waranty, I just got it on Agust.

    What to do from here?
    Should I contact HP support and tell them about my problem? does the waranty cover it? If not how much do you think I will have to pay to get it fixed?

    If HP cant do it should I do it my self? I found this two compatible screens on Ebay, will this work with the touch and wacom pen?

    Another option could be to buy the extra waranty from HP that covers it and have it send? is this a good idea?

    Here's the link to buy the exteded waranty that covers spills,drops, falls.

    The plan requirements are:
    Plan requirements

    * Plan must be purchased within one year of PC purchase date
    * Plan must be registered and activated as instructed in HP Care Pack materials
    * One plan per product
    * Does not cover preexisting damage to applicable hardware
    * Available only in the United States

    What does this mean? Plan must be registered and activated as instructed in HP Care Pack materials

    Thank you for ur help.

    Unless you have an accidental warranty, it doesn't cover it.

    Warranty in no way covers cracked LCDs or the glass used for touch pad. In order to have it repaired, they would need to replace botht he layer of glass and the actual LCD screen. The part alone is $500 most repair places charge $150 for the work.

    What about your household insurance policy? Certainly in the UK this sort of thing would be covered under the contents part of the policy if you have accidental damage cover.

    You can actually call HP, buy the ADH, then a few weeks or so later send it in. I know of people getting that to work... Just don't tell them it's broken.
