Wondering whether those used ones sold by Amazon Warehouse deals "
ASUS VivoTab Note 8 8-Inch 64 GB Tablet (Black) with Integrated Professional Wacom Stylus "
include MS Office Home & Student licenses as the new ones.
    Thanks.

also, can I assume these used ones are probably returned models having cable problems and have had their cables replaced?

    1. Don't count on replaced cables and think that no problem will occur (see threads on DIY and others about AVTN 8).
    2. You should ask if it contains Office. I think MS Office was like a gift, and you could sell it separately (in case you didn't register it on your Asus device). It wasn't OEM SW. But it depends

ah............since it comes in the form of an activation code on a card, these used ones from Amazon warehouse deals probably don't have MS office.

Has anyone bought these used ones before? can anyone speak from experience?

My refurbished unit developed digitizer issues and did not include a key for Microsoft Office.

How often do we have to do the "swapping cable ourselves" fix ? Aren't they the same type of cable and will eventually fail again?

Most of us got cables from third parties, and they don't seem to fail again after being replaced. It seems to only be the OEM cables Asus sourced that are prone to failure.
