I bet they'd get their knickers all tangled up if you used their material without acknowledging contribution.

1 month since I straightened out and reseated my touch cable and not a single blip yet! It was failing about every other time I woke it from sleep before.

It has been 10 days since I replaced the (perfectly functional) touch cable in my other unit. That is still working too, so it definitely seems like the replacement cable is compatible for those whose cable is to far gone for the massage approach.

    Glad to help.

Did you attempt to straighten out the cable at all or did you just reseat it? Either way, keep us up to date on how long it continues to work if you can.

Actually I did both, I reseat it from both ends, and straightened it.

Sure I'll keep you up to date with its state.
    Thanks

    Thanks.

I was kind of hoping you had only reseated because then we could track how effective that approach is =)

The important thing is it is working though. Good luck.

Yes I'm glad it's working . But you know as the cable is really taller than necessary there's noway to make it straight, so I just tried to modify its curves.

Yea, that is pretty much what we all did, but so far it seems to work.
