yeah, I hit the link and it takes me to Visual C++ redistributable packages for visual studio 2013 and I hit the button to download it and the DVP8 advises me I already have the most recent up date.

    There are 3 options, I choose vcredist_x86.exe.

Try the iso for ultimate ghost and goblins-- It's a 2D game but it may be more demanding than wipeout.

It loads and goes through the beginning cinematic then crashes.

I looked through my collection and couldn't find that game. And could not "find" a copy online to try (all links were bad). So sorry unable to check that. But...I have got better frame rates and sound now that i started tweaking the settings in PPSSPP. It works pretty good... Not perfect but i'm still testing.

PPSSPP is running great on my Lenovo Miix 2 8. Tekken 6 needs auto frameskip and its 100% playable speed.

In fact , I'm playing Resident Evil Remake on Dolphin , completed first disc with 23-25-27/30 fps , or even full speed in many areas , that's just wonderful!
Always remember to use Dolphin 3.0 , its a lot faster than the new version.

Trying to get Fallout 3 (steam) running, but no joy.

When I click play, I get to the initial settings page:

But thats it, when I click play it just closes. No error codes, nothing. Any help available?

I'm sure you need a Mouse and Keyboard connected with your tablet in order to play it , I also received this problem in like 4 games , all were solved by plugging the mouse in :D

I've got a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard set up, this is the only game I can't start.

I took a gamble, and bought Fallout New Vegas in the Steam sale, and to my surprise, it worked! Flawlessly too.

While this is great, it makes the fact Fallout 3 wont start even worse!

Just thought of throw two cents in. Got prince of Persia 2008 running on my dv8p and it's sick. Native res and low settings it looks and runs awesome. If any one interested in giving it a go male sure to go the instal directory and open the configuration file called dare and set disable optimization to true. This setting makes the game pretty unplayable but once it's off it runs amazing.

Also if you plan on playing diablo 2 download the diablo 2 glide wrapper. It fixes the frame rate issues, makes the game look better, and let's you run d2 at native res.
