    Hi.
I bought Dell V8P yerterday and I'm having trouble with the same situation.
Most annoying thing is that the pen click the screen automatically when just hovering on the screen....
Is there another stylus to be a replacement?

I asked that of their twitter support last night.

" Our Engineering Team is currently working with our vendors to fix the issue. I have submitted a request to provide an update on the status. We will provide an update when we receive a reply from them. ^NR."

There was a post around Nov. 12 that indicated that Dell thought it would be 7-10 days from that date.

Is there a way to use one of the buttons on the pen as an eraser in OneNote?

After playing with the dell for a few weeks now I have determined that the pen is indeed usable under certain conditions and with certain programs.
Unfortunately I also got a note 8 and after using it I just can't choose the dell as a primary note taking device.

Really though its hard to go wrong with the dell if note taking is secondary or you need windows compatibility.
MS really needs to up its game with touch based apps and improve win 8.1 touch ability... once it does that then it really can compete with android and apple on the small screen.

This is starting to remind me of the HP Slate debacle and the TPT2 USB issue. Dell might fix this but I am not going to be stuck with my 2 64GB versions. One is still sealed but I was hoping for a software fix. I am getting a really bad feeling about this. Good luck to all that hang on, but the stylus is just not usable in its current condition for me.
