No problem. As far as I understood it, you can also use it, when plugged in and fully charged. This way it wont use battery power, at least I think so :)

Has anyone put a second SSD in the WWAN M.2 slot? I have seen 128gb+ 42mm cards for very little which would fit.

I remember seeing it mentioned but no firm yes or no from anyone?

M.2 Slot of WWAN has only USB pins connected to chipset, so no for PCIe SSD

I have the i3 non-vpro version and the only issue which I can't seem to figure out is that I only get about 2-3 hours battery life on it when doing anything at all. i've been using battery monitor, but it hasn't helped to narrow down what is the culprit. nfc/wwan disabled. bt off. wifi on. screen 40%. audio muted. avast running. link power state on. got the latest a14 bios. updated latest drivers.

doing anything basic such as email, surfing, ms office, etc.. it drains 5500-8000mW... youtube drains 8000-12000mW... completely idle with nothing open just on desktop watching the battery monitor graph... it drains 4500-5500mW... i think I read a post in this thread saying idle should be about 2000-2500mW

if i can get even the 6+ hours some people are getting with light usage, I'd be happy

Surfing? What Browser? Chrome is a memory Hog! And also Surfing is most of the time more powerconsuming then SW Development or Wordprocessing-
Youtube? They say they are sending html5, but not for all content.
Check https://www.youtube.com/html5 what your browser supports.

    Hi there,

looked through all threads concerning the Venue 11 Pro but did not find an answer:

Will an Intel (non-Dell) WLAN card be recognized ? Want to purchase an refurbed i3 and upgrade to WLAN-AC.

    Kind regards,

    user2304.

What power scheme are you running? Changing it from Dell to Power saver for me can be several hours difference.
But the tablet will be slower (which is to be expected).
