USB Type-C ports are increasingly appearing in Windows computers as the way to attach monitors and other peripherals. Many of the first generation of tablets to use this new standard have only one USB-C port, but Dell offers a single adapter that can be used with a variety of models to connect an HDMI or VGA monitor, an Ethernet network, and USB-A peripherals.

We tested the DA200 with the Apple MacBook 2016 and the USB-C adapter passed with flying colors. Both HDMI and VGA external monitors, both keyboard and mouse, as well as Ethernet networking were tested.

    Hello.

Do you know which part number of the adapter you tested with? I have the 2016 Macbook 12 Retina and just got the DA200 adapter. It works for the Ethernet and USB, but not VGA and HDMI. Do I need a driver?

I noticed that Dell shows part number 470-ABNL and Amazon has 470-ABQN.

    Thanks!

@fkmobile, Amazon tells me I got the 470-ABQN version.

    Hi,

I am very much interested to know the connector type & pinout used inside this dock.
If possible can you provide it ?

    Thanks
