    That's very poetically melancholy...

But I know there's a sparkly-eyed child underneath! It's in all comic book artists! :D

I don't think Surface has anything to do with it. They aren't even close to being for the same audience. The 3 years R&D worry me, bugs should be out by now. It's probably bugs with those totems nobody will use once they start slipping off the screen.

    "Call for pricing," bah.

I'm getting more interested in this, especially since I've been wondering if I should give up on a desktop replacement tablet pc. Everyone's too obsessed with thin and light and function is going the way of the dodo in favor of form. If I go full on desktop, the Canvas would definitely be on my list to buy.

Well if it makes you feel any better, even the release date has kept moving further and further, the price has always stayed constant at $1799 since CES2017 and later reconfirmed in April by Dell.

You don't think they'd tack on an extra $200 just to "round out" the figure for us gullible consumers lol...would they?

I don't think it's vaporware. I do think they are having a lot of problems with it. That one Youtuber received another unit.

    Um... Not in Canada yet...

Which either means I'll be grumbling for a couple of months (irritating you all, I'm sorry!), or it means that it has some ridiculous flaw like the Samsung N9P. -Like maybe it will automatically default launch MS paint whenever you right click.

Just kidding. My gut tells me that Dell has taken the time to iron out the bugs and that this will be a benchmark product. -And that they just dislike Canada because some of us smell like moose. (I'm looking at YOU, Canada Dave!) :)
