Yes I think the screen thickness is strange, it's about 50% of the total thickness! Is the picture taken from an outdoor screen version?

Anyway, at $2500 as a starting price, I'll definitely forget the idea. Too expensive Dell. In particular compared to the T2010 (not so different) and the new M700 announced yesterday (much more powerful).

$2500 for a core solo tablet?? Ha ha, looks like Dell is giving its sales people marijuana for the holidays (and then outsourcing their jobs to India). Anyway, I don't understand why the gateway C-120 isn't very popular...its only $1050 and is better spec'd than the Dell.

Where I can find it on Dell's website? Am I missing something?

Of course it's $2,500 just to start... Remember, they put those interchangable tips on the pen! That's where your extra $1200 bucks is going to ;-)

What will be interesting to me is whether the price is a reflection of the dollar's weakness. If so, then we should probably expect to see increases in competing product prices shortly after the new year.

Another example of Dell asking you to pull your pants down, bend over and grab your ankles.

I'll keep my hefty tablet thank you very much.

    HA HA HA HA:

    Starting Price $2,678
    Limited Time Offer.

OH STOP!! TOO FUNNY!!! WOW! Talk about pricing themselves out of the market. I mean, I know a lot of companies out there are willing to pay for top end tech, but there are quite a few better options for the price!

I like the LIMITED TIME OFFER! They're going to lower it after the first couple days ;-)

Hello all, been lurking for some time.. also very disappointed in this price point. There is just no way this is worth anywheres near a $2000 price point, let alone $2600 and change.

Looks like my 1st tablet is narrowed to Gateway or Fujitsu.. buh bye Dell!
