    Hi,

I just purchased a Dell Latitude XT and it shipped with a CD/DVD drive. The problem is that I'm not sure exactly what to do with this drive. I do not see anywhere on the laptop/tablet where the drive can be inserted and there was no cable which attaches to the CD drive in the package.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    David

It should've come with an external bay for the DVD drive.

Spoke with Dell support. Apparently the CD/DVD drive is supplied for use with a media base should the user decide to buy one. I'd love to have a cable for the cd drive but for now I'm using an external USB drive I picked up at BestBuy.
