A few over at the buzz are reporting shipping confirmations with actually delivery dates of the 17th.

Guess the rest of us are still on "ship" date of the 17th. crosses fingers as this is good news :)

Mine also shows as shipped. Although I move into my new apartment for law school this week, so my review my be brief, but i'll get something up nonetheless. I got next bus day shipping. Anyone order overnight?

hang in there... from what people have posted - when it does finally ship it gets here quick if you did 2 day express... this morning mine was in china, now it has long since left alaska and is on its way to the states.

if it makes you feel better, my orginal ship date was July 6th =-/

The M7 showed up this morning at 10:00a. I upgraded the ram pretty easily and fired it up. Made the Reco Dvds...(make sure you verify) Its clogged with bloatware so i've been cleaning that out. I have a second hard drive for this so the plan is to turn the original into the test drive and use the new one as my production drive. Will run 3dmark and pcmark tonight as well as a few other benchmarks. look for the reivew with pictures soon as i have been documenting everything i have done with this machine :)

First impressions: not a bad machine... I like the widescreen. Didn't like that it took nearly 30 minutes and about 4-5 restarts ( 1 from a bluescreen crash) to finally get to a useable logon. ah well i suspect thats mostly normal ( except the bluescreen) for an OS initialization.
    As I suspected, the nvs110 IS 128+128 for a total of 256mb

mine arrived today. Nice box. Had to remove all the stickers on the palmrest. Toshiba (and others) advertise all over the machine. Next step is to load Vista after I finish this post using the new M7.

    1505 on 3d mark.... ( my amd 64 desktop w 6800gt oc scored 5300)
more on the way. not bad but not not awesome...It is for work not for gaming so I will not complain

    here's the breakdown:
    game tests 1505
    cpu tests 5762 ( amd 64 was only 3072 :) )
...time for some real world game performance

on a side note: one of the 1gb ram modules was causing problems so i had to remove it.. I'm not sure how much difference this will make with dual channel kicked in.
