!!Cracked LCD Screen T4215!!

    I dropped my T4215 and cracked the lcd screen.
    I called Fujitsu and they wonna charge me a fee of 755.00
    Well since I spent all this money on the laptop I dont have the 755. Can any one telll me where I can buy a replacement screen?

    or atleast give me a part number....PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    is the LCD really cracked or is it just the mask you write on that is cracked. I can imagine a screen costing $755 but a mask should set you back a max of $200

    the mask is okay. It's the lcd screen that is cracked

    Well if it was an XGA screen, then you might be able to purchase a T4010 or T4020 screen from screentekinc.com and try installing that. You'd probably need to do a bit of research to see if that is possible or not.

    But if it was an SXGA+ screen then I don't know. Unless you want to do an experiment and get a Toshiba M200 SXGA+ screen and see if you can get it in there :)
