Project Athena already ruined a great product line in the new XPS 13 2in1 by making them solder on the damn SSD on the mobo. If I wanted crap expensive product I'll buy a Macbook Pro, thankyouverymuch!

Intel can go F themselves in the Athena...

    Anyone notice the new XPS13 2-in-1 7390?

Notable improvements from the previous version:

    • Upgrade from dual-core Y-series to quad-core U-series processor

    and:

    • 16:10 vertically-extended 4K+ 3840x2400 display!
I love that they didn't cut away lateral pixels to achieve that aspect ratio (eg. SB15" 3240x 2160). Bravo, Dell!

I hope this is start of a new trend of 2-in-1's shifting away from 16:9 and into tablet heaven.

Having used many older 16:10 tablets, I can tell you it's far closer in feel to 3:2 than 16:9. You can see this just by the math:

    16/10 = 1.6
    3/2 = 1.5
    16/9 = 1.78! (boo)

It's amazing how much a simple "+1" can make. :)

Too bad the 4k is glossy.

Yo ho! You been "borrowed" from!

Simply by posting this sketch means a corporate legal team will think twice before allowing it on retail shelf space.

Nice job, Shog. This would have been cool!
