My tx2130ea continues to run well after nearly four years, especially since I installed Win 7 and an SSD. I know how to manage the heat issue too using RMClock.

I'm now thinking about getting a used tx2 in order to benefit from the ATI graphics upgrade, better screen and slightly faster CPU.

My question is - how well does the capacitive screen on the tx2 work? is the display (LED lit compared to my old FL-lite screen) and the absence of passive touch overlay - better than than my tx2000? Also, is ntrig now fully supported? I remember that drivers to support pressure sensitivity were missing to start with.

Has anyone tried to run Windows 8 on a tx2?

I thought about a TM2, but there is no PCI Express slot (I use this for USB3 and other things) and the Intel CPUs, although cool-running, are rather slow and used prices remain quite high.

No responses so far - and I have another question; if I bought a TX2 with an RM CPU, is a ZM a drop-in replacement?
