Well I finally got the boot manager on start-up ( hitting f10 ) to recognize my 8bg PNY usb stick, but when I select it and hit enter it still just boots to windows 8. I've tried it with secure boot enabled and disabled. I setup the usb stick like the op says. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. As an FYI I'm on bios P06AAI and micom P01AAI. thanks everyone.

    OK, perfect

So , I just load 8.1 instead of Windows 8 on USB, and everything else is the same?

    Thanks
