A Samsung Yoga style 2-in-1 with EMR S-pen(and silo) running ChromeOS. It looks interesting, specially since it comes with a S-pen, and 3:2 display, but it can't run Windows so that's a big no.
    Specs:
    $499
Samsung Hexa-core chipset with two Cortex A72 cores and four Cortex A53 cores
    4 GB of RAM
    32 GB of storage
    12.3-inch 3:2 2,400 x 1,600 pixel screen
    Full size(?) SD slot

Given my experience w/ Windows 10, not running Windows is beginning to look like a positive.

Give me a mapping application which will work w/ the GPS chip when not connected to WiFi, and it becomes a contender.

    ChromeOS has ink support?

Twitter is to communications as haiku is to literature.

Maybe via Android, which has some ink support?

Anyone seen any rumors on them offering a Windows 10 version (would be a BIG improvement over the Tab Pro)?

What is it with Samsung and their erratic use of the technology they have? They get some of the best Wacom EMR digitiser and while the popularity of the pen on the Note series is questionable (see the myriad of "I just want a big phone, the pen is STOOOPID" comments), devices with s-pens do seem to sell relatively well.

It's not like Samsung is adverse to making devices that don't sell well. They throw everything at the wall and see what sticks (which I greatly appreciate). However, it seems they often can't focus on something unless it sells very well (and even then they love to mess around with it too much).

In this instance why a chromebook of all things?! Sure, chomebooks aren't bad, but an Android and/or even a Windows version would be nice.

This will be one my main targets at Samsung booth at CES. Really interesting device. And one of the first official Chrome OS + Android app device to try out.

Yes, yes and YES! Looking forward to art tests on the device. :)

IMHO, the previously leaked specs seem to be for the "Plus" version? As the "Pro" version is a Intel chip, would prefer it has more than 4gb ram....

...and why on earth did they take the stylus button off?

    A site with specs listed...

This topic should probably be moved to the Android section.
