I disabled the chrome touch plugin and chrome still supports touch, panning and zooming.

It even works better when zooming, like IE10.

    Give it a shot!

    Im using version 17 0 963 56

Must be a recent upgrade. I'm on Version 16......something, and it doesn't work. Just downloaded it less than a month ago too.

    Maybe Googles listening?!?!

No idea on security. I use it because it loads pages MUCH faster than IE or Firefox in my experience. I tend to think that smart surfing is far more effective than anti-spam/virus/malware programs anyway.

Typed this on the screen of my EP121 with my fingers on the screen in Chrome. Chrome updated itself, and I now have native touch as well. Awesome. This machine keeps getting better and better!!!!!

Yes, the version 17 update now natively supports touch, someone made a thread about it in the general forum. Chrome is now sweet to browse with. Only problem now is the very tiny buttons that refused to resize with the rest of my windows setting & the TIP that doesn't pop up when you touch a text input field(only on the search bar)
    Way to go Google!

    Zooming is much much better.

Other issue: i used to do the "right click" tapping with one finger and then with another. It doesnt work now. I have to do the "long press" to get a right click now.

    Anyone experiencing the same?

    Agree with the tiny buttons.

I use speed dial 2 plugin, perhaps you dont know it.

    Give it a shot!

    Thanks CF,

I mean, it works fine outside chrome, but now that chrome has touch built in, it just seems that that trick, doesnt work!

This is a system wide feature, unlikely Chrome intercepted the gesture command.
