I purchased a Lenovo Yoga Book (Androd version) a few weeks ago specifically to take notes in OneNote: works really well. You write on the keyboard area (there is a "hover point" on the screen corresponding to where you have the pen) and it of course shows up on the screen. It's a little different, looking away from the pen to where the actual writing shows up, but it works well. The Samsung Tab A with S-Pen is also a decent more "standard" solution (you write directly on the screen). Both of these are around $300 and do a lot more than the Asus or the e-ink pads (as I understand, I haven't tried other solutions).
