I fixed the attachments. Sorry. Not sure why they didn't work.

The surgery requires patience to get the magnets out without doing too much damage.

    Scarred but functional.

Holy crap! They really went to town with the magnets in the IVSO covers. The Chinese ones on Ebay only have two small rectangular strips of magnets on the outer cover part as circled.

Looks like the Chinese have a new case out for the AVN 8. From the photos, it appears to only have one magnet, just for closing. It uses a flap to stand up instead of magnets.

    Yesterday I received this case:
    http://www.ebay.pl/itm/eFabrik-Case...E_Computer_Taschen_Hüllen&hash=item2ed07ecd47

So far I'm pretty happy with it. It's well built, there are no magnets, stand positions are stable (horizontal one is a bit less stable, but not to be cause of worries). All of the ports and stylus are accessible. Yes, it adds some bulk, but it's the price you pay for additional protection (I like the corners protection in this case).

There's a gallery of my present setup. :)

Actually, both of these cases look decent. I like them both. Maki's case doesn't add any more bulk than my IVSO case and works without magnets. Thatdude's case looks like it would work equally as well. I guess I'll be trying one of these to replace my IVSO, since it looks a bit "jury rigged" for professional use. Does the red case come in black?
