Thanks, that's a big help, ordered. I'm using this case http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IDHTRDI/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 so the thickness should be comparable but without the added border on the front should be much easier to use the gestures.

There was a review on the Minisuit Classic Flip Stand Case for ASUS VivoTab Note 8 M80TA on amazon.

It looks to be a good case, although the review showed that the case has a magnet (didnt specify if there was just one or more.
I was looking to buy this case sometime in the future, but not anymore since it can interfere with the digitizer.

    Just an FYI.

Is there any other case similar to the Supcase(ie with an elastic strap)? I can't find them on any Canadian sites.

I'm going to make a homemade gooseneck mount with an Ikea lamp so the strap would be ideal for holding it in place.

I too am looking for a similar case. Contacted the mfr., they do not ship to Canada nor do they have a Canadian distributor?

Here is a case I made for my AVN8. It cost about $50 and a few hours work.

Nice DIY case there. I like what it looks to be a sugru pen holder inside a reused book case.

Convenient place to store a Samsung eraser s-pen on the Supcase.

I do a similar thing with the Versa Sleeve. Very convenient.
