CF77, just for reference what are the changes made to the 704 bios other than disabling PROCHOT? Were the temp curves edited at all?

    Turbo33 is on...but no effect..
    temp curve not adjusted..

    it is in the readme...

I have modded the latest 704 (according to ASUS..it is new even though it is same version number).... just --prochot.. but I have not tested it.. so it is not being posted..
the latest 704 seems to work with B121..but TPMS module.

    Hello all,

CF77 and all involved in any way, Thanks for the mods.

As anyone tried 1600 mhz? I installed 4gb 1600mhz, it Works with no issue but cpu-z says memory is running at 400mhz when i was expecting 800mhz. In the timings table there are 533, 622 (not 666) and 800mhz

I suspect the system has set memory to 400mhz (ddr3-800mhz ) because it couldn't find 666mhz in the timings table.

Have you succeeded in opening memory options in bios menus or have you been able to set the frequency to 1600mhz?

    Thank you

the highest timing is 1333 in bios...and is already set by ASUS...however, the design won't allow you to overclock or downclock as the lcd clock is set proportional to fsb and it will not work display.

Ok so there Is no way to have the ram running at 1600mhz. It's weird my ram seems to be running at 800mhz according to cpu-z. I launched prime95 and could see (in cpu-z) the cpu running at 1400mhz (133x11).

Anyway, i saw a big improvement with 4gb instead of 2. So that's a Nice upgrade even if I should have taken the cheaper 1333mhz module.

This is the latest 704 from October 2012...modded with prochat disabled
I flashed my EP121..and is ok..

please read readme first...use md5 and virus check...
do not use if you are not prepared to take risk...

this version seems to also has B121 header..will probably work with B121 but there is no TPM module compare to actual B121 bios. latest for B121 is 603..it seems ASUS is not an ISO certified company... the B121 ..603 might have been updated without changing version number.

    BayFiles

btw..let us know how's your result..

nothing wrong..first hash is for the 7z..second hash is for bios itself.
