Can you describe how you flash the bios?

I was looking at the 3 files in the 701 zip..

ME is actually Intel Management Engine firmware...version 6.0.40.1215

I believe version F1 and AS version has same functions but written in different bit word size. This why the Win7 x64 could not verify.

    EP121 has a 32m bits..serial flash chip from micron. (2$)

I used win flash . The readme file for 701 mentions the AS file. I flashed that file and all is well.

"Answer is in the first post of this thread."

I read the whole thread and the Asus update. I just don't understand why supporting hotkeys is a bios issue.
    Is there something I'm missing?

I'm guessing the hardware hotkeys (volume, home key etc) work in Windows 8 now.

I download the update, put it in the root, enter the Bios, i upgraded from there, made all processes, and at the end turn off forever.

I am very angry because is an official Bios update. At other times, i updated BIOS other often, i have "flashed" several Android phones, xbox, PSP, etc. .. and now when i update this ORIGINAL update, it destroy the tablet.

    Bfffffff.....
