I'm sold on the functionality of tablets. I also really like those bright, glossy, reflective widescreens on many of the notebooks I've seen in stores. However, the few tablets I've seen in person (r15 is the only one I've actually seen in use) seem to all have very non-reflective screens (matte).

All other concerns aside for the moment:
    - Are their any tablets that offer bright, glossy screens that rival the color contrast and clarity of the glossy notebooks?

    - If not, which tablets come closest?

BTW: I'm more interested in indoor than outdoor use.

    THANKS!

I am not aware of any glossy screened tablets. I think this is for two purposes, first the glossy surface wouldn't likely provide a "paperlike" feel, more or less some resistance to the pen. Further, based on the finger/hand prints that I get on my tablet now I can only imagine that a glossy surface would look terrible in no time.

Thanks for the response. Any input on which tablet has the best looking screen/display?

The Acer C200 series Tablet PC has the glossy bright screen you are looking for. The new Toshiba M400 comes in second place for a nice screen.

Barry would know. He gets to see them all. Didn't realize that the Acer had the glossy screen. Does it fingerprint easily?

Thanks! I think I'll give the M400 another look.
