As much as I'm not a fan of Windows 10X in general, it runs surprisingly well on a Lumia 950XL, including connecting to my USB-C monitor.

In a lot of ways (swipe gestures, etc.) the UI feels like it's designed for a phone sized device.

There's some stuff that doesn't work yet, like autorotation (and they're working on that), but it's surprisingly nice on a phone.

Of course, the only way to interact with an Office document is through the browser, there's no real access to the file system, and obviously no Win32/desktop apps/windowing of any kind at the moment. I know it's a Chromebook competitor but I'm not 100% sure I'd say it competes there yet either.

Gus33000 on Twitter is making the most progress, some screenshots below.

I think this more aimed at folks looking at the Atmos Ninja or RED display for their cameras. Like an accessory to their A9 or A1 cameras that can upload to the internet directly. Great for the upcoming Olympics in Japan if that's still happening this year.

I vote “no”, despite citing the W21. There are bling iPhones at $5000 and up (way up). Plate with gold, embed some jewels, inscribe someone’s famous name—it’s still the base smartphone.

I think this is (was) a major design consideration for this device. I (think I) just saw an ad that showed one of these new high end phones being used as a monitor and connected to the new Sony Alpha 1 camera...

Regarding that, here’s a selection of blinged iPhone 12s by Caviar:

    https://www.gsmarena.com/caviar_unv...x_inspired_by_ancient_warriors-news-45922.php

“There are four versions ranging from noble warriors to Roman emperors, from $5,490 to $46,460.”

I just checked my pocket for change and came up short. Darn it, I should have skipped Starbucks this week!

    PRESS CONFERENCE W/ CEO Starbucks:

REPORTER: "Why did you raise the price of coffee again?"

CEO: "We heard you still had some money. Next question?"
