I really miss taking my computers apart. The last one I was able to do that do was the Asus Viva Note 8. My old Acer 3820TG was great to disassemble. I was able to solder a lead onto the USB port to power an aftermarket backlit keyboard. It was so much fun (until you bricked the unit of course). Since moving to a Surface I wouldn't even consider it.

That's equal to just a tick above 0 degrees Fahrenheit in the US and UK.

I don't want to be "that guy" but that's way below spec for all of the companies and realistically all of the major phone makers devices start to at a minimum show usability issues below 32F, 0C

I could show you a whole bin of cracked iPhone and galaxy screens from my own company for devices that were attempted to be used in say 15 degrees F and the user squeezed/pressed to hard.

I realize that this is different then the screen actually cracking just in the act of opening it, but it's on a continuum....

PS: OLED is especially fragile at those those lower temps compared to LCD. And for that matter, Color LCD is more fragile than monochrome. Not e-ink however which is a special case.

Maybe they should consider carrying it in your inside coat pocket next to your body instead of laying it down on an ice block?

Samsung's event is too freaking scripted and boring. Tuned in and immediately fell asleep.
This lady's been talking for the past 20mins about the S21.

Agreed, the only takeaway that i have so far is that they are again being like Apple with their line segmentation

    eg. s21- S1Plus- S21Ulra vs apple's iPhone12- 12pro - 12 Pro Max
