The more I look at the Moto Z4, the more it stands out as a possible alternative to the Galaxy Note. With pen capability and 5G, the Z4 will come in at under $500 as compared to the new Note 10, which I anticipate will cost in excess of $1,500 dollars in 5G trim. For a casual note taker who wouldn't mind carrying a Surface pen around with them, it really looks like a bargain. https://liliputing.com/2019/06/moto-z4-supports-the-surface-pen-and-other-styluses.html Unfortunately for me, I'm stuck on the Note's S-Pen that is nestled in its silo.

Shame that Motorola cancelled the keyboard case for the Z4. It would have been interesting. Anybody have a conceptual drawing or image?

    Unless you're Huawei... :p

Who just came out with their take on Samsung's infolding design, the Mate X2:

What's interesting is that these renders came from the patent itself:

    (TabletNews)
"The source didn’t even have to go through the trouble of rendering the device, since the patent itself included some 3D renders."

And quite honestly, I appreciate the trend. No more abstract drawings that can be used to sue any device with "the likeness" and such. :p

Mate X2 lookin' good! (and strategically timed to dull the interest in the upcoming (re)launch of the Galaxy F. ;))

Mate X2 when the X1 isn’t yet out the door? They don’t need a new foldable device to dull interest in another foldable device, our interest is already dulled with the high price and experimental status of the tech.
