Chrome with Chrometouch extension and TIPSwitcher extension/addon (fixes the double flick issues). I love it.

IE is best, now with IE9 and GPU support, the scrolling is supersmooth, best touch detection available ... selecting text works fine, scrolling works great, etc...

I seoncd IE9, it just has the best compatibility with touch. However, Opera 11 Mobile works pretty darn well in respect to just using the tm2 as a slate (Mobile not the desktop version). Scrolling is super smooth, along with pinch to zoom, but it does lack flicks and stuff. It works exactly like the versions made for phones.

I'm moving to Firefox 4 from Chrome. I think Chrome is superior, but I'm tired of not having proper touch support. I was surprised to find that overall performance is more consistent in Firefox, I guess it's the HW accelleration working.

Although Firefox 4 doesn't have pinch zoom, you can enable it, look here:

Enable pinch and twist gestures in Firefox 4

What extensions do you guys use? I'm using adblock, no script, default zoom level (@ 120%) and omnibar.

    • Download Helper (to watch videos offline)
    • All-in-One Gestures (to browse back and forward and to open, close, un-close tabs)
    • Context Bookmarks (to access all bookmarks with a right-click)
    • Menu Editor (to make the Bookmarks and NoScript menus the 1st and 2nd on context menu)
    • Hide Caption Titlebar Plus (Smart) (to maximize vertical space)
    • Tab Mix Plus (to many, many things)
    • Low Quality Flash (on my old TC1100)

Also, on the Options dialog, I set all fonts to Verdana (quite easy to read) and set minimum text size to 12 (always large enough). With these 2 changes, you might not need to zoom anymore. I never do.
