So, I picked up the Bamboo Ink for my Thinkpad Yoga 14, and I quite like it. Nice low Initial Activation Force. Pleasant weight and barrel shape. I like that I can pretty easily find the side button for eraser. However, I also want to reprogram the 2nd side button to L for Lasso. Can this be done easily? or do I have to install Wacom drivers to do so? I've not had any Wacom drivers installed for a few years, and am glad of it, as I found them glitchy and a pita. My hope is there's so other easy alternative.??

You need the Wacom Feel driver.

Are the drivers more solid than they used to be? Say, compared to during windows 7 and early 8? I often used to lose pen pressure and had to try and reinstall the drivers, wipe it clean, reboot endlessly, etc. It sucked. Is there any downside?

I don't have a problem with them especially on the TPY 14. An update is due out soon. I last heard Wacom was writing 7.3.4-38 back in late August, but the version online is still -36.
