Hello all! On my list of glitchy stuff to solve is finding a combo of BT keyboard and mouse that plays well with 2.4ghz wifi. My current combo is a Logitech Tablet Keyboard and an HP X400b mouse. When using just the BT keyboard its fine. When i start using the mouse they both interfere with each other, when on 2.4ghz wifi. I can switch to 5ghz at home, but away at work i have no guarantee what networks will be available. Also doing hotspot from my iPhone using wifi causes the same issue. However running my iphone hotspot over BT, with keyboard, and mouse, they all play nice together.

Not considering a traditional wireless combo (with dongle) because im trying to keep the OTG port free.

Does anyone have a rock solid BT mouse/keyboard combo that they know works, with their 2.4ghz wifi?

    Thanks!

I've got one of those and don't like it at all. What I really like is the KeySonic KSK-3211 with its built-in trackball. http://www.keyboardspecialists.co.uk/5050-keysonic-ksk-3211-bluetooth-keyboard Google it, it is widely available, at least here in the UK, for between £30 and £40.

If you want slightly larger the Microsoft Wedge Keyboard and Wedge Mouse are excellent pieces of kit.

No idea about a mouse, but I use my HP Slate 500 keyboard for the AVN8 and it works perfectly. The AVN8 is in a Supcase,
which makes a perfect stand. Non-Glare SP makes the AVN8 usable in all but the most extreme light conditions outside.

What does SP mean in this context? Screen protector?

Do you have any experience w/ transflective LCDs? How does it compare to that?

I have the Supcase as well. My BT keyboard works fine until i bring the mouse into the equation then they both seem at odds with each other.

Here is the combinations that work good:
    1. 5ghz wifi connection, HP mouse and Logitech keyboard work fine.
    2. BT hotspot connection to my iPhone, HP mouse and Logitech keyboard work fine.
    3. BT connection with my iPhone (not as my active hotspot), HP mouse and Logitech keyboard work fine.
    4. Keyboard by itself, regardless of connection methods.

    What doesnt work:
    1. 2.4ghz wifi connection, HP mouse and Logitech conflict with each other.
    2. Wifi hotspot to my iPhone, HP mouse and Logitech keyboard conflict with each other.

I get stuck keys and a nearly unusable mouse.

Update: going into Device Manager>Network Adapter> Broadcom Wifi SDIO and turning off bluetooth collaboration solved my issue.

Now i have to decide which BT mouse im keeping (HP or Sculpt)

But even with this tip you will have sometimes issues
But it is the best option I know.

How do you switch to 5 GHz connection ?

Your router will have two SSIDs, log in to the one running 5 Ghz.
