See, told you I'd find out who they were

    http://www.synnex.com.au/

    and more specifically :

    http://www.synnex.com.au/Default.as...&Brand=Asus&item=R1F-K010T&search=true&page=1

Interesting tho, is that the prices they quote are like $300-$400 more expensive than everybody who is getting the product off them (or maybe thats just a straight retail price n they hate the hassle of individual buyers)

anyway. I just got my r1f today from EYO Drop Shipping. http://www.retailing.com.au/prod_14...D_2.0_120_1G_13W_XPT_90NGAA1111C1161SA0H.html

Great company. Pleasure to deal with. Super fast. Personal service.

Will add my perspective to the reviews once i've had more time to play with it. I wanna test it's performance in CAD software, Drawing and Games. And yes i'll be testing the audio issue and i'm gonna play around with turning off the 3D audio crap n see if that helps.

    Until then.

    Jobbo.

p.s. it's F'KN AWESOME! and the build quality makes me quiver with excitement

Indeed... the R1F is very well built.
Reminds me of a Toughbook on makeup.
